Broker Remarks
Sandy is a truly individual 8m aluminium cutter cruiser, built in Brittany in 1998 to a John Sadler design. Constructed with an unsinkable foam-filled hull and twin swing keels, she offers an unusual combination of shallow-water capability, sailing performance and practical cruising. She has been exceptionally well maintained and has benefited from an impressive programme of upgrades, including renewed standing and running rigging, a new mainsail, hull repaint, upgraded electrics and navigation equipment, new batteries and wiring, gearbox service, new prop shaft and numerous engine works. With comfortable accommodation for three, a well-appointed interior, beaching legs and an extensive sail inventory including a cruising asymmetric spinnaker and storm trysail, Sandy is a fascinating and capable little cruiser, ready for her next adventure.
