AB Inflatables Boats For Sale
AB Inflatables
AB Inflatables uses advanced materials to balance strength and weight. The hulls are typically built from fibreglass reinforced with high quality tubes made from Hypalon or PVC fabric, depending on model. Hypalon offers ultraviolet and abrasion resistance while PVC is lighter weight and cost effective. The result is a boat with responsive handling and durability over a long service life. Attention to detail includes robust fittings, ergonomic seating and practical storage access. Many models are easily trailerable and convenient for storage.
Popular and Current Models:
AB Inflatables offers a broad range of sizes and configurations.
Key models include:
AB Oceanus series: Larger RIB models with deep V hulls for comfortable offshore performance. These are suited to family days out, watersports or extended cruising.
AB Jet RIB series: Integrated jet propulsion options that are ideal where propellers may be a hazard, such as shallow waters and tenders for larger yachts.
AB Sport Series: Sporty craft that blend performance with everyday usability. These are often chosen by recreational boaters who want speed with stability.
AB Lammina Series: Fibreglass hull inflatables with refined lines and premium fittings that help improve ride comfort and sea keeping.
Classic Models That Endure
Among longstanding favourites in the AB range are older versions of the Oceanus 21 and Sport 23. These models gained a strong reputation for combining manageable size with capable sea keeping. Owners of these boats often highlight their reliability and ease of use, keeping them in service for many seasons. For many, these classic models helped establish AB Inflatables as a trusted name.
Use Case and Suitability
AB Inflatables are versatile. They are used as tender boats for larger vessels, as safety craft for commercial operations, and as primary day boats for families or anglers. The range of sizes means there is often a model suitable for those who want something compact for easy launching from a trailer or larger craft for open water.
Other Similar Makes
Boaters considering AB Inflatables may also look at similar brands such as Zodiac Nautic, Highfield Boats, Brig Inflatables and Walker Bay for alternative RIB options. Each of these brands offers variations in design philosophy, materials and price points yet serve much the same demand for quality inflatables.
